What is the Vehicle Trust Score?
The Vehicle Trust Score is a 0–100 score calculated from live DVLA registration data and the full DVSA MOT history for each vehicle. It checks MOT expiry, DANGEROUS and MAJOR defects, odometer anomalies, odometer readings, and data mismatches between your XML stock feed and official DVLA records. Green (85+), Amber (60–84), Red (below 60).
Does Moto AI use our actual inventory?
Yes. The AI Sales Agent, Trust Score checks, Recall Checker, and Ageing Heatmap all work from the same live stock feed. Recommendations are always based on vehicles actually available on your forecourt.
Does the AI replace our sales team?
No. Moto AI supports the team by handling first-contact engagement, qualification, and recommendation - including surfacing Trust Score data to buyers when relevant. Your sales advisors step in when the conversation is ready to close.
What data does the Vehicle Trust Score use?
It queries the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and the DVSA MOT History API using each vehicle's registration plate. DVLA does not provide accident history or insurance write-off information - a full HPI check is always recommended before sale.
What is the Safety Recall Checker?
The Recall Checker downloads the latest DVSA RecallsFile.csv (updated daily) and matches your stock against it by make, model, and registration year. It shows Possible Match, No Match, and lets you mark vehicles as Checked OK or Recall Unresolved, with CSV export.
What is Market Value Analysis?
Market Value Analysis benchmarks each vehicle in your stock against live listings scraped from the UK market. Each car is automatically classified as Below Market, Good Value, Fair Price, Above Market, or Overpriced - so you can see at a glance where your pricing stands before a buyer compares you to a competitor.
